The BBC is experimenting with a new Flash-based video player instead of the horrible Real Player system that it has used for goodness knows how long.

After you’ve viewed one of the trial Flash vids, (I found one on [this page](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6733385.stm) about “cheap” tin boxes for people to “live” in) you get the chance to fill out a little survey that asks you what you think of the idea, did you think the video was decent quality, etc.
Personally I thought it was fab - much better to have something embedded in the page, right next to the relevant news item, rather than faffing about with pop-up windows and the godawful horror that is Real Player. Hooray Beeb, please more Flash vids. Ta.
