Bought the latest Monocle (Nov 2008) on a whim (I liked the front cover image). Wondered about a subscription, then found to my utter bafflement that it would cost *more* than just buying the mag in the newsagent every month. This is surely bonkers. I thought subscriptions were supposed to save you a few quid.
