Easiest way to get…

I can’t remember what I was actually searching Google for.

B and I went on a boat trip along the Avon, while K browsed shops.

There’s a pub overlooking the river at Bathampton. Didn’t know about that.

There’s a place where you can hire rowing boats and punts. Didn’t know about that.

There’s somewhere that hires out canoes and things. Didn’t know about that, either.

Today’s message to students-to-be is simple: hey kids, welcome to debt!
The new government website aimed at students-to-be is all about debt. How much debt will I be in? How will I pay it back? When will I finish paying it back?
It’s totally the wrong message to send to people. Come to university, accrue enormous debts, but worry about it all later.
I grew up hating the Tories because of their attitude to education. Now I hate Labour, and the Tory/ConDem alliance, for coming up with this disastrous mess instead.

Barney and I saw this space greenhouse in the garden of a house in Bath, as we drifted by on the river. It’s amazing. The owner’s garden is amazing all over, every inch of it designed for growing veg. Note the beans climbing strings right down at the water’s edge.
I will commit £23.32 per month to a citizen-run news service for Leeds that offers quality writing with a determinedly local focus but only if 35 other local people will do the same « matt.me63.com – Matt Edgar: “Back of an envelope, 36 print subscribers pay the Guardian £10,000 per year. It wouldn’t fund a whole beatblogger but it’s certainly enough to get the ball rolling. If you subscribe to the Guardian (or indeed any other daily paper) in Leeds would you consider switching that spend to a citizen-run news service? I would, and so far seven other people have joined me on Pledgebank.”

There’s some geology there I want to see.
Just tried this out for a Techland article. Amazing. Actually works, smooth and slick experience. UK retailers will be all over this, and not just for phones.
Spoke to this guy. He was very friendly and perfectly happy to chat, even though he knew I was a journalist and not a customer.

Well, I think that pretty much sums it up.
Once you get past the moisturiser advert, this is pretty amazing. Tempted to leave it on in the background for a while.
Kindle Direct Publishing: Self-publish to Amazon’s Kindle Store.
I wonder if this really is as simple as they make it look. Have you published something on Kindle store? Was it easy to do?
